Q:
How much space required for Cart, Stall, Booth, 25 Hours, and Indoor outlets?
A:
The space required for type 1 (cart) and type 2 (stall) including operator room is 2x1 meters. Type 3 (stands) requires 2x2 meters. Type 25 Hours requires 3x3 meters. The size of indoor outlets can adjust to the space available in the building.

What are the terms and conditions in choosing the location?
A:
The ideal location is normally in a crowded area, such as shopping centers, campuses, and places where the traffic is slow. As our franchisee, you will also be provided with location survey facilities.

What if I cannot find the location? Will KTBR provide site survey? If yes, how much does it cost?
A:
We will help find the strategic location with the maximum of alternatives, so potential Franchisees can choose the best location for the outlets.

What if there is an outlet of Kebab Turki Baba Rafi near my target location?
A:
As long as there is a distance of at least 1 km between each outlet, it will not matter.
Q:
Is it possible to move if our location turns out to be not good?
A:
Yes, it is possible, but rarely happens. In special cases, such as when the location is not effective, outlet can be moved as long as it is not in the same 1 km radius with other outlets.

Is it possible to only use your franchise license without using your outlet or design?
A:
Not possible. Each franchise will represent KTBR, so we establish strict standard. The stands, utilities, and design should correspond with our standard.

When I have found my location and paid the commitment fee (CF) of 10%, what is the next thing to do?
A:
The next step is MOU signing and settling the investment value. The outlet will be delivered afterward along with the utilities

A:
We will deliver the outlet to you using several choices of method, depending on your location.

How much is the outlet delivery fee? To whom it will be charged?
A:
The fee will be borne by KTBR team, except for deliveries to areas outside Java. The investment cost for clients outside Java area does not include delivery fee.

Does Franchisee have the ownership of the outlet? Will it be taken over later?
A:
The stands and utilities are the property of KTBR. It can be taken back after the partnership period according to the franchise agreement ends.
Raw Materials and Products

Is Franchisee allowed to sell products that are not listed in the menu?
A:
Unfortunately no, except for beverages menu (which required approval from KTBR team beforehand).

Are the prices listed the same throughout Indonesia?
A:
The prices are adjusted according to the region. However, if one site has higher prices, it is usually due to the rent and local raw material costs.

How does the raw material delivery works? To whom it will be charged?
A:
Deliveries are carried out by land, air or sea, and the costs will be borne by the Franchisee. To facilitate and expedite the processing of orders and delivery of raw materials, we will connect you with our stock branches in several regions, such as East Jakarta, Bekasi, Bandung, Solo, Banjarmasin, Makassar, etc.

What are the raw materials necessary to be purchased by Franchisee?
A:
The main raw materials to be purchased from Baba Rafi are: kebab meat, tortilla, and packaging. You can purchase sauces from other places as long as the brand is the same.

How long is the expiry dates for each of raw materials? How can they be stored?
A:
The main raw materials, such as kebab meat and tortilla, can be stored for 1 year when kept frozen in a freezer in accordance with the procedure. Conditions on storage will be further explained in our Standard Operational Procedures.

What are the specifications or requirements to be operators?
A:
They must be at least graduates from senior high school or equivalent, have neat appearance, and pass the training program as outlet operator.

How long is the working hour for operators?
A:
The standard is eight hours, but may vary depending on the outlet location.

How much is the standard salary for operators?
A:
In accordance with the minimum wages applies in the outlet region.

Are the operators provided by the head office?
A:
The investment cost includes the operators from our training program. If Franchisee decides to find their own operators, we will provide training programs.

Training is usually held in the head office or in the branches. In some occasions, the training is held right at the outlet before the opening. Our team will assign trainers to outlets outside Jakarta and Surabaya.
