SURABAYA – Kebab Turki Baba Rafi has just launched two of its signature menus in an exclusive collaboration with the local children's animation character, Metal Cican. These two special menus, Kebab Chijeu (Meat Egg Cheese) and Kebab Banana Chocolate Cheese, are now officially available at all Kebab Turki Baba Rafi outlets across the Java and Bali regions since Monday (15/1), featuring specially designed packaging created exclusively for this collaboration. Not only do these menus offer a tasty treat to welcome children back to school after the extended year-end holidays, but they also provide a culinary experience that appeals to all age groups.
In addition to the new menus, this collaboration introduces a new single titled "Keju Selalu di Hati" performed by Metal Cican. This children's song narrates the joy of cheese combined with kebabs, chocolate, and bananas, aligning with the collaborative menu. This partnership is an initiative to support Intellectual Property (IP) based on characters created by the nation's children, aiming to shine even brighter in Indonesia.
The good news is that the character Cican itself has received various awards, including the "Best 3 Favorite Character" award at the Asia Animation Summit in Brisbane, Australia, in 2017, attended by executives from Disney to Netflix. Wahyu Aditya, the creator of Metal Cican, hopes to contribute to and enliven the development of local animation, especially content aimed at children.
"I want today's children, referred to as the Alpha generation, to enjoy age-appropriate entertainment and grow up as cheerful kids," says Aditya.
